What a beautiful city! It’s technically our third day here in Copenhagen and we really like it.
Our hostel, Generator Hostel, (which has been really great by the way) rents bikes. It’s a steal — a whole 24 hours for just 100 DKK (around $15 USD) so we got them today and explored the city!
We rode by an old church, we got to take pictures by The Little Mermaid statue, and we even saw a series of paragliders landing down by the dock for an entertainment show.
One great thing about Copenhagen at this time of year is that there’s so much daylight!! Seriously, it gets dark around 10:30 PM! and it only stays dark until about 3 am. (Trust me, I know because this jet lag is destroying my current sleep schedule.)
This is a picture of us after we got to Denmark last night. Can you tell we’ve been in the air/airports for over 18 hours??
This gorgeous picture is one I took during our walk down Ny Havn (New Haven). Isn’t it just stunning?? Oh and btw, this was around 7:30 pm.
We got dinner at a little pizzeria and it was delicious! I had spinach, basil, tomatoes, cheese, and POTATOES on mine and it was scrumptious.
Ok enough chit chat. The rest are gorgeous photos for you to enjoy.
