Winter Break

Well it's been a fantastic break so far!
From family to friends and from sledding to a wedding, I've been having a great time. Seeing Frozen today was pretty entertaining; I definitely recommend it.

So I know that obviously with my witty writing skills, you'd all be entranced to reading this for hours...but hey! I don't want to keep you all hooked reading my blog when you could be, you know, watching Modern Family or something.
So I'm just uploading pictures and saying a bit about them!

Watching the Utes cream BYU's team was priceless

I tried skiing for the first time! Talk about terrifying. My good friend Haeli taught me and after 3 runs down the bunny hill, we were on the BIG STUFF! I learned the hard way that doing "pizza" isn't always the greatest solution...sometimes crashing into the side of the mountain works too. Needless to say, it was very scary but I survived and I'm looking forward to the next ski day.

So...I've discovered a wonderful thing called Pic Stitch
It's an ap actually.
I've been having fun experimenting with it and creating collages.

First time going to Momentum, a pretty sweet rock climbing gym. My highest climb was a 5.10 (b I think?) but I totally cheated at one hold. Oops haha. Really fun though! As my good friend said "If you're not falling, you're not pushing yourself enough."

Oh yeah? My mission companion and one of my best friends got married yesterday!! And I was honored enough to throw her a bachelorette party :)
A great time, mostly because of the sparkly panties.

Sledding with some homies

Oooh this night was so fun! We went to A Bar Named Sue and had a blast. On Thursday nights, they have poker and it's a great adventure to play (for me at least).
I lost all my chips the first round but later I made it to the top 3! This man here named Frank was my partner at shuffleboard, which is also really fun.

Oh and did I mention my friend and I did karaoke?
He nailed it and I completely bombed...oh well! At least with this song, it's always good.

Last but certainly not least: playing dead weight is the next greatest game ever.
Seriously, I think this needs to be added to the Olympics soon.
Basic rules: the players lie on the "runner."
Then you pretend like you are all in a fire.
Then the runner needs to get everyone out.
Hopefully without dragging them on the flaming floor.
It is pretty difficult to do (depending on the size of your teammates) but sooo hilarious.

Ok and this is just for kicks because I thought it was funny :P

(If you haven't seen Catching Fire yet, you haven't experienced celluloid at its finest!!)
