Herding the Sheeeeeeep

Guess what?
Today we got to herd sheep! It was actually a lot harder than I thought. The sheep clump together and wander off or sit down or get distracted by little meaningless clumps of grass so it's hard to lead them places. The trick is to find the lead goat and get them first and then the sheep follow the goats.

And we also got to crush up hyssop and make this spice called zatar. It's so good! We kneaded dough and then cooked pitas over a small fire.

Oh and the coolest thing--while we were waiting for our fires to warm up, my friend Jared found a chameleon! It was sooo cool. It was bright green when he found but after chilling on his dark shirt it started turning black. So cool!

This all took place at Neot Kidumim, which is a really cool Biblical Landscape Reserve.

Then later tonight we had a Valentine's day dance in the gym at the center! It was way fun.
