Sinai was very cold (see our bundleage above) but way fun! We started at about 3:30ish and ascended before the sun came up. There were camel rides available but most of us hiked ourselves. As the sun rose, we made a cuddle group and sang a lot of hymns. After singing and taking lots of pictures, we went down a little ways and split into our religion classes for a lesson. Brother Muhlestein read the ten commandments and we listened to him talk about the covenants with the House of Israel. Then we took the (over 3,000) Steps of Penance on the way down and it was beautiful to see St. Catharine's monastery and the landscape around it.
