Ok other awesome event in October: my birthday weekend. Justi came to visit me and we had a ton of fun beaching it, eating acai bowls, observing nature, and flirting with a British hottie.
Oh and did I mention--we went skydiving?!?! It was probably the craziest, coolest thing I've ever done! I was pretty much hyperventilating the whole plane ride up (especially when they opened the door!) but as soon as me and my Venezuelan instructor (whose accent was indecipherable--not a comforting thing when he's telling me the proper way to not die) jumped out, it was just fun! We went through a cloud (which was wet) and all the little water droplets hit me in the face.
It was kinda crazy coming down from 12,000 feet--all the air shoves itself into your face and you almost can't breathe! It was really fun though and I can't wait to do it again!
Justi and I did a lot of other crazy things which can be seen here and this madness will probably repeat itself when Liz visits in less than 2 weeks (ahhh!!!).
