Hello again.
Ahh summer. Sometimes I forget how good life is! Well my teeth aren't really that great right now. I went to the dentist this morning and my gums are sore from all the poking and prodding. Oh well. Maybe I'll eat some ice cream to help them feel better!
p.s. This is one of my favorite pictures ever! I think I was around 3 and me and my dad are in the old kitchen making cake.
It's a sweltering day in August at 3:44 pm and I am shower-stalling. Not that a shower wouldn't feel amazing (because it would) but I'm just too exhausted to move.
Grace's baptism is on Sunday and people are coming over after for refreshments. Translation: I have been working for Peggy nonstop in order to make the house and yard look pristine. So in addition to the laundry, dishes, lawns, and general sprucing, I have been trying to make the yard look fantastic for next Sunday. On top of that, I have decided to help my neighbor with some digging and stuff in his yard. Sometimes I wonder why I get so many things on my plate and then I remember, Oh yeah. I'm crazy. (Plus having money is great.)
But luckily my summer hasn't been all work and no play. Yesterday was sooo much fun! I got up early to go boating with the Materns and my fellow Sunday School students. We drove up to East Canyon where we did wake boarding, slaloming, water skiing, and tubing! It was fabulous. True, I could never get up on the wake board (even after like 10 tries) but it was still fun to watch everyone else do it! Or in Michelle's case, sit in the water. Jk jk I have no room to talk. I also got a lot of sun which was great. Don't worry Liz, I put on sunscreen....eventually. Hahaha. Anywho. So later that night Alex, my cousin Katie and I went to go tie dying with the Young Women! It was really fun. Carol, one of my leaders, is so pro at swirling shirts! I decided to dye my white soccer sweatshirt--I hope it turns out really good!
After tie dying me and Alex met up with Jay and we all went over to Mandy's house to see how she was doing after her ACL surgery. She was kinda loopy but it was really fun to chill with everyone there! Then it was time for...
FUGITIVE!!!!
Normally I end up having to drive but this time I didn't! so it was really fun. Even though I got caught within like five minutes. Whatever I blame Alan and Justin. It was a beautiful night though and the Bob's after just made it a perfect summer evening.

We're going to hit up the sand dunes, fiesta fun, and the condo pool! It's kind of a stinker everyone else couldn't make it but we shall have a blast.
