Hello world and family!
This is my very first ever blog. For some reason or another I have decided to start up this whole blogging shpeal. Maybe it has to do with the fact that I'm going away to Hawaii for college in a few months and I want to keep in touch with everyone I know and love.
But it's more likely because I just want to monologue on the Internet for hours and tell myself that people out there are really concerned with what I have to say.
You know I have a really good feeling about this. Life has been pretty spectacular lately! I've been doing a really good job at work (making the yard look like Versailles), I've been hanging out with the fam a lot (one word: Vietnamese restaurants), AND I've reached a new high score on tetris! (2:30 sec for 40 lines!) Yeah life is just good all around. Plus my baby blue snails that I found are loving their new home! (It's an cut out milk jug haha.) Minus when the wind blew it down on me last night and I had to silently cringe as I picked out dirt and snail slime out of my bed....I keep reminding myself that I feel nothing but love for Jasmine, Aladdin, Harry, Curly and Moe.
The only slight hitch in my beautiful summer is that these scholarships I'm applying for are due this week. All my hopes of college tuition rest on these stupid--I mean opportunistic--essays. Wish me luck! Hopefully those stingy college moneytiers will see me as the next Madame Curie. Only with a slightly less work ethic and a larger sense of humor.
Anyway I think that's enough to start out.
